are you looking for sets ... or boards ...

A couple good places are either Exotic in Burlington or A&M in Cambridge ... another very good place, he usually has a ton of curly because he buys from a lot of local Ontario cutters, is the Woodshed in Smithville (near Niagara Falls).

I've gotten some beautiful curly maple sets from Fraser Valley Fine Woods, Quesnel, BC.

Sometimes you can find it local, btw. Seek out custom cabinet makers or flooring guys and they can direct to their supplier, who's usually right there in town, or at least within driving distance. A lot of times, if you can find the place, they will sell Flamed/Figured stuff for the same price as their regular maple because the above mentioned folks don't always want it, since it's hard to have consistency in larger quantity.

I found a place locally down here in Florida because someone gave me that same advice. Just a thought.

For Curly and quilted maple I do not pass go or collect $200. I go right straight to The Woodwell in Washington state. There are several great suppliers of maple. I have never been disappointed with Sarah @ Woodwell.
